Ce que vos invités vont adorer dans votre quartier

Full of attractives, I'm at your disposal to suggest where eat or enjoy yourself. It's really quiet and ideal to rest in the night. The proximity to the city center accessible even on foot, if you are a good walker, is definitely the highlight of our lovely apartment. The recent renovation, carried out in a historical context (the building is from 1926), is another favorable aspect, coupled with the fact that the house has been furnished that welcomes all comers with an elegant and relaxing atmosphere. We have deliberately kept some old aspects enriching them to make them more functional and modern. The house is located in a lovely quiet street (Via Treviso): in a short distance there are a few shops, supermarkets , restaurants, bars , which you can reach on foot. Equally close is Piazza Bologna , a famous square around which , at the beginning of the twentieth century , it developed an area dedicated to the upper middle-class , characterized by four-storey detached houses with fine architectural finishes. Piazza Bologna has now become a strategic point for nightlife in the neighborhood. And therefore it's a great opportunity if you want to drink something or if you want to try other restaurants without taking public transport. Near the apartment there is also a metro station B, called Policlinico. With very few stops It takes you to the Coliseum (we are close to the city center) and to the renowned Monti district ( Cavour stop at just three stops ) , where it is pleasant to take a walk and enjoy an aperitif , a few steps from the Coliseum.

Le mot de la fin
A WONDERFUL ENERGY The home has a wonderful energy since the first time I saw it and I'm sure you could feel it ... ;) AIR CONDITIONING Air conditioning is not there because there isn't need! The house is pleasantly cool in summer and warm and comfortable in winter thanks to thick walls dating back to the early twentieth century. ACCESSIBILITY In the case of the elderly and disabled is important to know that the apartment is located on the mezzanine floor, a lower floor to the first floor, reached by a few steps (five). The spacious rooms contribute to making the apartment very accessible to people with reduced mobility. TRASTEVERE & EATALY At the close Tiburtina Station comes the train to and from the airport of Fiumicino, crossing the town and allows quick access to the Trastevere train station and its neighborhood and even before the Ostiense station, where you will find the famous Empire Eataly food and wine, as well as many More restaurants and bars such as Porto Fluviale and Dogana. HOW REACH US You can reach my flat easily by taking the train to reach Tiburtina station at Fiumicino airport. At Tiburtina station you'll take the metro B (direction Laurentina) to reach the metro stop Policlinico. If you arrive from Termini station take the metro (line B direction Rebibbia / Conca d'Oro) only for one stop. You have to get off at Policlinico. Turn the corner, just a few steps and you'll be at home! If you need I can suggest a service for the Fiumicino/Ciampino transfer. See you soon! Roberta A small gift for you about the Great Rome and its Great Beauty ... Discovering Great Beauty "The Great Beauty" not only shows that the Roma are on the postcards, but hidden behind the doors, walls and gates that always seem closed. Yet there is a way to visit them, even when they seem inaccessible. Here is a guide that will allow you to discover, to experience Rome like in a movie. Let's start from the house of Jep Gambardella, the protagonist Sorrentino establishes the attic of a building in Piazza del Colosseo nr. 9, which overlooks the south side of the Flavian Amphitheatre (Coliseum). the most famous monument in the world. Here festivities take place with the trains "that does not lead anywhere" and conversations Jep cruel and bored with his friends. Orietta, the beautiful woman bored with Jep which consumes a night of love, lives in an apartment in Piazza Navona, right under one of the towers of the Church of St. Agnes in Agony, at the Palazzo Pamphili. Viola, the rich and depressed friend, lives alone with her son psychopath at Palazzo Sacchetti, in Via Giulia, where he organized a lunch which will not participate in any. Not far away you live from the phantom Column Principles of Reggio, the nobles for rent that have set up their family museum at Palazzo Taverna. Sorrentino plays with the identity of places, weaves them and transforms them according to his narrative needs: the "palaces of princesses" that Stephen opens to Jep and Ramona are actually museums that preserve some of the most fascinating works of Rome. From the doorway of the Priory of St. Mary on the Aventine, with the keyhole most famous of Rome, the sculptures of the Capitoline Museums, from the courtyard of the Palazzo Altemps the monumental staircase of the Palazzo Braschi, the Fornarina by Raphael in the Palazzo Barberini, the false perspective of Borromini Palazzo Spada, until the sculptural group of Niobe in the heart of the Villa Medici, where it is concluded their fascinating exploration at night. Rome is wonderful especially when it appears deserted thus able to admire Gambardella on his walks at dawn, returning from holidays more mundane. The first leads to the Aventine Hill, where he meets a group of novices in the portico of Santa Sabina and discovers a nun intent to reap the fruits from a tree in the Garden of Oranges. A few days later we find him thoughtfully along the embankments of the Tiber, where he arrived after traveling a deserted Via Veneto, retaining only a vague memory of the Dolce Vita. And 'here that he expresses his birthday party, held on the terrace of a building in the thirties via Bissolati nr. 5. A wild dance involving faces deformed by botulinum toxin, which all meet at Palazzo Brancaccio to undergo the injections of the miraculous cure of beauty. On the opposite side of the city, Sorrentino explores in his own way the most famous places of the Janiculum: the cannon that shoots right at the beginning of the film is below the terrace on which stands the equestrian statue of Garibaldi, surrounded by busts of the heroes of the Roman Republic . A few steps away, pours water Fontanone, which overcomes the complex of San Pietro in Montorio, with the Temple of Bramante. Even when the camera leaves the Centro Storico, Rome is monumental: the performance of contemporary art is staged in the Park of the Aqueducts, while for the funeral of the only woman loved by Jep the director chose the Monumental Cemetery of Verano. Sorrentino is often surprising choices, such as setting up a clothing store in the lobby of the EUR Salone delle Fontane, where the scene is the monologue of the funeral. "The Great Beauty" is a film between dream and reality, just as the exhibition of photographs under the loggia of Villa Giulia or makeup that makes disappear the giraffe in the heart of Rome archaeological, at the Baths of Caracalla.
