The house is on two levels, situated above the Bank of Scotland and built in 1891. It has most of the original features of a grand Victorian Bank house and is simply oozing with character. It has a large walled garden to the rear and although the property is situated in the middle of the town, you feel that you could be looking out of the rear kitchen window into the countryside. Large and spacious with all the comforts you need to make this a fantastic location for a golfing, sports, sightseeing, or just a relaxing holiday.

Our house is set in the historic town of Banff, with all the amenities close by, including Duff House Royal Golf Course. There is lots of parking close by, with the seaside beach only 500 metres away and the public swimming pool a short drive away. All of the local amenities are within the immediate vicinity, including pubs, shops and places to eat. The town of Banff is located on the spectacular 'golden coastline' along the Moray Firth, which encompasses picturesque seascapes, rolling hills and is steeped in history and culture. Indeed, the coastline was rated in 11th place of the world's most beautiful and unspoiled coastlines, by a panel of 340 experts in sustainable tourism in the National Geographic Society's Travel Magazine in 2013 (Scotsman newspaper 09 January 2013). The magazine entry for the Moray coast states "A popular vacation spot for more than a century, this coast offers outstanding cliff scenery and maintains a strong community feeling."
Close to the famous Speyside Whisky Trail, with all of its distilleries and countless historical sites, Banff is ideal for people looking to relax watching the sun set by the stunning coastline, enjoy walking, cycling, golf, fishing or just soaking up the culture.

The house is available (ideally for an exchange with another property) almost any time of the year by arrangement and does not have to be a simultaneous exchange.
